Meet Stephanie
Mom, Healthcare Professional &
Community Leader
Brentwood is where I’m raising my family and have spent years serving our community. I’ve worked directly with residents and seen firsthand how the decisions made locally affect everyday lives.
WHY I CHOSE BRENTWOOD
A Great Place to Raise a Family
I fell in love with Brentwood the first time I visited. My husband grew up here, and when he showed me around, I knew this was the kind of community to put down roots and raise our family.
I moved to Brentwood in 2016 and began getting to know the community. For me, the best way to do that was to get involved.
SERVING BRENTWOOD
Turning Community Input into Action
Parks and recreation was a natural place for me to get involved. As a teenager, I worked as a Parks and Recreation and years later I was appointed to Brentwood’s Parks & Recreation Commission, where I later served as Chair and Youth Commission Liaison.
What I valued most was hearing directly from residents and having the opportunity to act on what I heard. One example was helping expand adaptive recreation and inclusive play opportunities in Brentwood.
From there, my service expanded to our schools and to organizations serving families throughout East County.
OUR SCHOOLS
Advocating for Students and Strong Schools
I was elected to the Brentwood Union School District Board of Trustees in 2020. The pandemic changed daily life for families with children in school. As a parent, I saw how difficult that period was for students and families and decided to step up and bring a parent’s perspective to the School Board.
I spent four years helping our schools navigate difficult decisions, from returning students to the classroom to district budgets, school safety, and planning for Brentwood’s growth. I later served as Board President.
MILES FOR MAYO 5K
Turning Pain into Purpose
Our family experienced an unimaginable loss with the passing of Matías “Mayo” Rogers. In his memory, we founded the nonprofit Miles for Mayo.
Our annual 5K that brings our community together with 100% of proceeds donated to schools and youth.
PREOFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Experience Beyond Public Service
Professionally, I bring more than 15 years of experience in healthcare strategy and operations, solving complex problems, working across different perspectives, and being accountable for results.
I’m also a local business owner, bringing D1 Training to our community and creating a place where youth athletes and adults can train, grow and reach their goals.
WHY I’M RUNNING
For Our Neighbors.
For Our Next Chapter.
Brentwood is entering an important next chapter. As we move closer to buildout, the decisions we make now will shape our community for years to come.
I’m running for City Council District 4 to bring steady leadership and sound judgment, keep residents at the center, and help ensure Brentwood is ready for what comes next.
